Home users will find that they are able to set up a biometric login for all of the users in the family and each will have their own application and resource privileges.
Small business users may assign multiple users to the same workstation and assign each user their own access rights and privileges. Doctors, Dentists, Therapists and other offices that deal in sensitive data on a single PC can immediately integrate biometric security into their workflow.
In order to assign these rights you must be signed in as the PC administrator under Windows NT, 2000 or XP (Home or Professional). When the unregistered user logs into the PC after installing the Fingerprint Hamster, the PC will register the user automatically using the SAFsolution Workstation software. The SAFsolution Workstation software will replace your existing GINA (sign in screen) with a biometric login prompt. Simply press your thumb against the scanner on the Fingerprint Hamster and you will be automatically verified into your local PC Desktop.
